Conditions of application and participation

  1. The completed application form (printed or hand-written in block capitals) with all attachments must be posted by 1st March 2011.
  2. Attachments:
    • a photo of the choir (digital)
    • a short curriculum vitae of the choir and the conductor (max. one page)
    • five copies of each of the optional music scores
    • a recording of the choir (CD/DVD) not older than three years

    Application forms and attachments will not be sent back; they will be kept as documents.

    Incomplete applications or applications sent after deadline will not be accepted, therefore great care should be taken in observing the deadline and the conditions of participation.

  3. The Artistic Committee will select the participants from the applicants. Confirmation of acceptance will be posted by 15th March 2011.
  4. The accepted choirs are obliged to pay the entrance fee until the 30th March 2011. to the account number:

    Please send the copy of your payment transcript to the organising office as soon as possible.

    Entry fee: 250,- EURO

    Entry fees will not be returned in case of withdrawal!

  5. Fee of participation:

    For the whole competition 120,- EURO/person (we provide hostess for each choir)

    The fee of participation should be transferred no later than 30th April, 2011 to the account number mentioned later.

    For this price accommodation in a youth hostel and full board will be provided from dinner on the 10th June to breakfast on the 13th June. Escorts, family members and other guests coming with the choirs will be charged the same fee. At special requests, hotel accommodation is also available at current hotel prices.

    You can change your choir's pieces and the number of the participants till the 30th April, 2011.

  6. Choirs cannot claim any fee for their performances or TV or radio recordings during the competition.
